Letlow's Troubled Roll Out: Not Ready for Prime Time

The last week has not been what Julia Letlow hoped for as she got into the U.S. Senate race, with her announced speech widely panned and key conservatives attacking her record as anything but conservative. This is on top of the spate of bad news on her over 200 violations of the STOCK act.

  • NOLA.com: Hillyer: As Julia Letlow runs for Senate, opponents sure to take aim at financial history

  • The Hayride: ... [Letlow's] a RINO, and he comes about that opinion based on the fact that her scorecard numbers particularly in the 2023-24 congressional term, were pretty terrible.

  • Jewish Insider: Newly announced Senate Candidate Julia Letlow attended 2023 Qatar junket funded by pro-Doha group

  • Louisiana Radio Network: Despite endorsement of President Donald Trump, Julia Letlow daces stiff competition in 2026 U.S. Senate Primary

  • The Louisiana Illuminator: Letlow will have to make up a sizable gap in fundraising, as Cassidy's campaign says it has more than $26 million at its disposal. He also has a slew of endorsements from sheriffs and parish presidents along with the financial backing of Louisiana's major GOP donors.
