…While Liberal Letlow Campaign Flops Like A Haul of Shrimp


Baton Rouge, LA — In another undeniable indication of the strength of his campaign heading into the May 16 primary, Senator Bill Cassidy announced his largest single-quarter haul this cycle. Cassidy raised a whopping $2.5 million across all entities in the first quarter of the ‘on’ year, bringing his campaign-to-date total to $20 million raised. Additionally, public reports indicate that pro-Cassidy entity Louisiana Freedom Fund raised almost $6 million in the same period. 


Meanwhile, Liberal Julia Letlow’s campaign is flatlining as negative headlines about her support for radical DEI policies and hundreds of stock trade violations and questions about her campaign’s viability continue to mount. Letlow doesn’t even have enough money to buy broadcast television advertising. Letlow continues to be outspent by John Fleming, and Team Cassidy outspent Letlow on TV by a more-than ten to one margin last week. 


“Louisianans know they can trust Senator Cassidy to deliver, and his strong Q1 fundraising numbers are just another example of the campaign’s strong position heading into the final stretch of the primary,” Cassidy campaign manager Katie Larkin said. “Meanwhile, Republican primary voters have serious concerns over Liberal Letlow’s shady track record of egregious stock trade violations and long history of promoting radical DEI policies. It’s no wonder her campaign is stalling. Maybe self-described ‘Progressive Leader’ Letlow would’ve been better off in the Democratic primary.”
