CASSIDY CRITICIZES LIB LETLOW FOR MISSING KEY SHRIMP VOTE TO CONTINUE HIDING IN CAMPAIGN BUNKER

Baton Rouge, LA — Conservative Bill Cassidy, who has an unassailable track record of delivering for Louisiana, released the following statement on reports that Julia Letlow skipped an entire week of votes and missed a crucial shrimping vote:

“I just heard that Julia Letlow skipped a vote yesterday that would have helped our shrimping industry,” Sen. Cassidy said. “That’s just unacceptable. I’ve always shown up for Louisiana jobs, so the fact that she would skip this vote to try to win an election tells you all you need to know. Our shrimp industry has been under attack for years, and they don’t need a senator that disappears during crunch time, so please make sure you go vote Cassidy on Saturday.”

Letlow, who has been hiding in the Biden Bunker for weeks, also skipped the following votes this week:

• Legislation empowering federal prosecutors to crack down on retail crime

• Legislation expressing support for law enforcement and recognizes their sacrifices

• Legislation condemning antisemitism and committing to protect religious freedom of Jewish Americans
