Baton Rouge, LA — Today, U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) released a new video commemorating one month since his campaign kick-off. The video highlights Cassidy’s strong conservative record, growing grassroots support, and endorsements from key Republican leaders as he continues to build momentum heading into the 2026 GOP primary.
“I’m ready to continue working and winning for Louisiana. I’ll work with President Trump. I’ll work with you. Let’s get the job done,” said Senator Bill Cassidy.
Cassidy’s campaign kick-off drew a packed crowd earlier this month and featured the endorsements of Senate Majority Leader John Thune and NRSC Chairman Tim Scott, signaling that national Republicans are firmly behind him.
President Trump has also praised Cassidy. Together, the two have worked closely to deliver major wins for Louisiana, including passing the One Big, Beautiful Bill (OBBB) to cut taxes for Louisiana families and the HALT Fentanyl Act to combat the deadly fentanyl crisis.
In the weeks since, Cassidy has traveled across Louisiana during the August recess, meeting voters face-to-face and underscoring the strength of his grassroots support.
