Baton Rouge, LA — Senator Bill Cassidy today announced that he has been endorsed by the International Franchise Association, a massive pro-business group with thousands of outposts across Louisiana.
“I've known Senator Cassidy for years, and the International Franchise Association’s endorsement speaks volumes about the kind of leader he is for franchise businesses across the country,” Jeremy Aydell, owner of 27 Sport Clips said. “He's the type of Senator who picks up the phone when a constituent needs something. That type of call helped get my Sport Clips hairdressers included in the No Tax on Tips legislation to put more money in their pockets. We need more people like Senator Cassidy in Washington who will stand up for franchise businesses like mine.”
Sport Clips alone has more than 20 franchises in Louisiana.
“There’s a big contrast in this race: I get the job done for Louisianans and my opponent doesn’t,” Senator Cassidy said. “I’m honored to have the support of Louisiana members of this pro-jobs group and I’ll continue fighting for our franchise businesses and everyone who employs hardworking Louisianans.”
The International Franchise Association (IFA) is the world’s oldest and largest organization representing franchising worldwide. IFA advocates for the approximately 832,000 franchise establishments that support nearly 8.8 million direct jobs, $907.3 billion of economic output for the U.S. economy, and almost 3 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). IFA members include franchise companies in over 300 different business format categories, individual franchisees, and companies that support the industry in marketing, law, technology, and business development.
