Says Confusion Over U.S. Senate and House Races Handing Democrats a Win

Baton Rouge, LA — Conservative Bill Cassidy yesterday briefed reporters on the final stretch of his primary campaign and emphasized the importance of educating voters about the important dates and rules of this critical election.

“I am running like I am 10 points behind,” Cassidy said. “And I am going to go to the finish line because I know the work I've done over the past 12 years – I have delivered big things for our state.”

Despite a confusing last week of electoral changes, Louisiana is in the midst of early voting and Cassidy voted with his wife Laura on Saturday.

Cassidy’s final Get Out the Vote effort includes direct voter contact, paid media, mobile billboards, and more in order to punch through the confusion caused by the Landry administration’s handling of the Supreme Court ruling related to congressional apportionment.

On the call, Cassidy also contrasted his record with that of Liberal Julia Letlow, including her support for DEI at ULM, her failure to accomplish anything of note in Congress, her remarkable success at trading stocks, and her Biden Bunker campaign strategy of hiding from voters.
