Conservative Cassidy’s clear record opposing DEI:

Entire life: Has never supported DEI or called for DEI.
February 2025: Wrote an op-ed on "the troubling influence of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) ideology in higher education" and pledged HELP Committee scrutiny of federal funding
June 2024: Introduced the Dismantle DEI Act with JD Vance and others to eliminate all DEI programs in the federal government and any organization that receives federal funding
August 2024: Urged Education Department OIG to investigate use of federal funds by universities for DEI
February 2025: Reintroduced the Dismantle DEI Act
December 2025: Grilled the American Medical Association on its support for DEI mandates in healthcare
February 2026: Called for DEI programs to be removed from NIH

Liberal Letlow’s clear record supporting woke DEI:

Explicitly supported DEI for years.
Called for a ULM division of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Referred to herself a “strong progressive leader”
Helped initiate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) workshops
Pushed for employee sensitivity trainings and incorporating DEI in classrooms
Promoted safe spaces on ULM’s campus
Associated with an “anti-racist” organization
Signed a statement “condemning racism and embracing diversity”
Advocated for affirmative action initiatives and used millions in taxpayer dollars to fund Biden-era DEI government programs.
Required textbooks “promoting critical race theory and other race and gender ideology.”

And then she lied about it:

Louisiana voters have a clear choice in this race on DEI.
