Baton Rouge, LAEarlier today, Liberal, Liar Julia Letlow was forced to face the music on her history of supporting DEI and things did NOT go well. Instead of addressing her terrible record or apologizing to Louisianans, Letlow stuck her head in the sand and lied

ON HER DEI RECORD

“That is absolutely false that I would be a proponent of DEI. Do I know it exists on university campuses? Absolutely. I’m going to do everything I can to fight it.”

  • Letlow's history with DEI goes back to at least 2011, when she taught "Diversity in the Workplace" at Tulane.

  • Letlow was in charge of ULM's comms/external affairs when the school erected a giant Black Lives Matter public artwork display on campus in 2021.

  • She organized DEI workshops to insert woke content into the curriculum, joined an anti-racist organization, and signed a statement “embracing diversity” after George Floyd’s death.

  • In Congress, Letlow steered a $2.5 million in taxpayer funds to a Biden-era NSA program designed to "increase diversity within the field of cybersecurity" through Grambling State University.

The Daily Caller News Foundation even said, “During her time at the university, Letlow helped initiate diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) workshops, associated with an anti-racist organization and signed a statement ‘condemning racism and embracing diversity,’ records obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation show” in a damning report.

ON HER LYING ABOUT SENATOR CASSIDY

But that’s not all…Letlow’s qualifying day went SO bad, Governor Jeff Landry tried to step up to the plate for her but it was a swing and a miss.

Following Julia Letlow’s lead from Thursday, Landry defamed Cassidy with a totally false and debunked tweet. Here’s the truth:

As reported by The Advocate, “After Cassidy became a senator in 2015, no one who was nominated for a Louisiana federal district court judgeship by President Barack Obama received a confirmation vote on the Senate floor, according to a record of nominations on the Senate judiciary committee’s website.

“Landry’s post also accused Cassidy of leading ‘efforts to block the addition of a new conservative federal judge in Louisiana’s Middle District.’ A spokesperson for Landry said the governor was unavailable to explain exactly which judge the post referred to.

“The last time a judge in need of Senate confirmation joined the bench in the middle district was in 2014, according to the court’s website. That was before Cassidy joined the Senate.”
