Baton Rouge, LA — Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) today released the fourth video in his daily social media series, highlighting voices from across Louisiana, including voters, small business owners, and local elected leaders, all encouraging participation in the May 16 election.
Kathy Ray from West Monroe is voting for Senator Bill Cassidy on May 16 because she believes Cassidy is the candidate who not only loves Louisiana, but West Monroe as well. He has consistently visited the area to meet with local communities and ensure its people, small businesses, and nonprofits continue to thrive.
The social media video series will continue rolling out in the lead-up to Election Day, highlighting voices from across the state and encouraging all eligible voters in the Republican closed primary to participate in the U.S. Senate race.

Under Louisiana’s new closed primary system for federal races:
Republicans vote in the Republican primary.
Democrats vote in the Democrat primary.
Voters registered as No Party will choose which party’s ballot they want when they vote.
