Baton Rouge, LA — U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), announced the endorsement of Colonel Evans Spiceland (Ret.), a prominent Republican leader in St. Tammany Parish, retired U.S. Army officer, and longtime community leader who has continued his service through local government and state boards.
Colonel Spiceland has been a leading voice in Republican politics in St. Tammany Parish, serving as chairman of the St. Tammany Republican Parish Executive Committee. He and his wife, Peggy, were named the 2016 Republicans of the Year, and he has remained active in his community through roles on the parish charter study committee and the Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board.
