Baton Rouge, LA - It has now been FOUR days since U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA) publicly challenged Liberal Letlow to participate in three televised debates ahead of Louisiana's U.S. Senate primary, and Liberal Letlow is still running scared from the challenge.
In case you missed it, on Friday Senator Cassidy called for three televised debates so Louisiana voters can hear directly from the candidates before casting their ballots.
The challenge was issued to ensure voters have the opportunity to hear from the candidates side-by-side and compare their records and visions for the future of our state. Despite the public invitation, Letlow's campaign is already making excuses for why she can't step onto a statewide televised debate stage.
With the May 16 primary approaching, Louisiana voters deserve transparency and a full discussion of the issues impacting their communities, families, and businesses. Liberal Letlow should also be willing to answer for her liberal record of supporting the woke DEI initiative at ULM and her 210 stock trade violations.
Senator Cassidy has made clear he has agreed to participate in multiple televised debates with Liberal Letlow and look forward to discussing the future of Louisiana directly with voters.
Team Cassidy continues to call on Congresswoman Letlow to stop hiding, commit to the debates, and let Louisiana voters see the candidates side-by-side before they cast their ballots.
Three televised debates include:
KTBS
LA Public Broadcasting/Better Louisiana
