Baton Rouge, LA - U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA) remains the clear frontrunner in the Louisiana U.S. Senate race, with a double-digit lead in polling and an unmatched financial advantage positioning the campaign to define the race early and win statewide. See for yourself:

Surging Fundraising Momentum Fuels Historic Financial Advantage

Momentum continues to build in the first quarter as Senator Cassidy raised $1.4 million between his campaign and a pro-Cassidy Super PAC at a Washington Mardi Gras fundraiser, following a $650,000 Baton Rouge fundraiser with Leader John Thune. The back-to-back fundraising successes underscore the depth of support behind Senator Cassidy's conservative record and the confidence Republicans have in his proven ability to deliver results for Louisiana.

This fundraising momentum is further fueling our historic resources. Senator Cassidy closed the fourth quarter with $11 million cash on hand, giving the campaign and its allies a combined $26 million available for deployment on paid media, grassroots expansion, and voter outreach across all 64 Louisiana parishes - the single largest investment ever supporting a Louisiana party primary candidate.

Cassidy Defines the Race as Letlow Falls

Last week, Cassidy's campaign launched its first television advertisement of the 2026 cycle, 'Tiger Stadium,' backed by a half a million dollar statewide buy airing across broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms. Over the weekend, a pro-Cassidy group, Louisiana Freedom Fund, launched additional advertising exposing Julia Letlow's record and her alignment with the radical left's corrupt practices, directly challenging her attempts to brand herself as an American First candidate.

While Senator Cassidy continues to build strength across Louisiana, Letlow's campaign has failed to gain traction. Her launch has drawn criticism from conservative voices, and skepticism from political observers who have raised legitimate concerns about her voting history and ideological alignment. Meanwhile, Letlow is a leading voice in Louisiana of the same extreme ideas that she claims to be fighting against.

Polling Confirms Cassidy's Clear Path to Victory

A new Public Opinion Strategies survey conducted between January 20-22 among likely Republican primary voters shows Senator Cassidy holding a double-digit lead, 32 percent to 21 percent over Letlow on the initial ballot. After voters are informed about the race, Cassidy's advantage expands to a commanding 47-point lead, 69 percent to 22 percent, and among key voters, Letlow places third, tailing both Cassidy and John Fleming.
